One of a Kind Pets

A Brief History of One of a Kind Animals

Have you ever wanted a unique pet, one that you have never seen anywhere else? Or maybe you’re a pet owner who likes to travel and wants to bring exotic animals along on your trip. Perhaps you’re simply fascinated by animals. If you’ve thought about buying a unique pet, you may be wondering what it takes to find just the right pet, one that will really stand out in your family and in your travels.

Linda Holland, one of a kind pet owner, made some special friends over the years. She met cats… one of a kind… one of many different breeds. She was very fortunate to meet so many lovely cats over her lifetime… some of which ended up with her adopting them as pets.

She also met dogs… of course, one-of-a-kind pets. Some were cute, some serious little dogs, some really big dogs… all of the different breeds. But they all loved being around her. They followed her everywhere she went. She even had cats that became best friends, sharing her litter with her in the process.

When she decided to become a breeder of exotic pets, she decided to focus on dogs first but was overwhelmed when she got to know so many different kinds of cats that it was difficult to choose which pets to bring to adoption centers. In her eyes, there must be a way to combine the best qualities of several different breeds and keep them together. After all, each breed has its own strengths and weaknesses. And no one wants to introduce an unknown dog to a perfectly good cat or vice versa!

This led her to search for an organization that would help her do just that. As soon as she was comfortable with someone who could help her achieve this goal, she started sending out applications to pet shelters and rescue groups. Most of the time, no one was interested in taking her pets because she was only offering them as a last-chance breeding pair. But others actually responded well to her efforts, as she was very persistent in finding homes for her pets. Many of these cats wound up in loving homes, and one of them became so attached to her that they wound up staying at the Neutrogena Pet Neuters’ House for about three years.

Now, almost 20 years later, One of a Kind pet is still going strong, despite all the odds. The overwhelmingly positive response means that people really do care about pets, so One of a Kind pets will continue to have a future even in a cruel world. Other animals will no longer have to suffer because their owners didn’t know that they could count on them to be a good fit for a family. Now, other pets can find good homes as well.
